Support orphans in Gaza

Around 18,000 children have been killed and more than 40,000 children have been orphaned in Gaza since 7 October 2023. According to the United Nations Children’s Fund, more than one million children in Gaza are in urgent need of humanitarian assistance, and half of the 1.9 million internally displaced people in Gaza are children.

Islamic Relief’s Orphan Sponsorship Programme in Palestine has grown from financially supporting 8,750 orphaned and vulnerable children before October 2023, to now supporting 21,084 orphaned children – most of whom were orphaned during this bombardment. However, we need your help extending our support to the additional 7,375 children currently waiting to be registered to our Orphan Sponsorship Programme in Gaza.
