Call for Tender
Islamic Relief South Africa is seeking a reliable supplier/s to provide Ramadan and Al Fitra food packs to distribute to those in need during the holy month of Ramadan. This initiative aims to support vulnerable communities across Johannesburg, Cape Town, and Durban. Below are the details of the required food packs for each location:
Johannesburg:
- Quantity:
- Ramadan Food Packs: 2,500 (two thousand five hundred)
- Al Fitra Packs: Approximately 700 (seven hundred)
Cape Town:
- Quantity:
- Ramadan Food Packs: 2,500 (two thousand five hundred)
- Al Fitra Packs: Approximately 1,000 (one thousand)
Durban:
- Quantity:
- Ramadan Food Packs: 2,500 (two thousand five hundred)
- Al Fitra Packs: Approximately 1,000 (one thousand)
Food Pack Contents:
A detailed list of the contents required for both Ramadan and Al Fitra food packs is provided in the accompanying documents.
Requirements:
We are looking for a supplier/s who can provide high-quality food items at competitive prices according to a specified delivery schedule and can meet the following criteria:
- Provide evidence of experience in supplying food packs in similar quantities to that requested in this call for tender.
- Package the food items in the packaging provided by IRSA.
- Demonstrate the ability to meet the volume and timing requirements of the project.
- Demonstrate a commitment to ethical business practices, including fair labour
practices, pricing, product quality and safety, and ethical marketing and representation.
